We have been promoting a comprehensive redevelopment of Euston station for many years. Our first Vision Masterplan for the Euston area was published in 2008.

Only a comprehensive development of the station site will realise the commercial potential of the station, attracting private investment, which will in turn contribute to the funding of the railway and the transformation of this area of London.

Our first Vision Masterplan in 2008

Our 2008 Vision Masterplan proposed a comprehensive development of the station site:

  • A vibrant landmark station visible from Euston Road
  • Increased passenger capacity
  • Easy connections between transport modes and improved cycle routes
  • Active street frontages and permeability, ensuring the station fits within its neighbourhood
  • Mixed use development catering for office workers, travellers and local residents
  • A new public space – Euston Roof Gardens
  • Improved public realm, based on principles of good urban design.
